EFI Certification - Responsibly Grown
The EFI Certification signifies that produce was grown responsibly by workers who were fairly compensated and worked in safe conditions.
The EFI label on fruits and vegetables means the grower is providing a new level of transparency that comes from having met all of the EFI’s standards for labor practices, food safety and pest management.
The certification is developed and managed by its parent company, the Equitable Food Initiative, whose mission is to bring together growers, farmworkers, retailers and consumers to transform agriculture and improve the lives of farmworkers.
