USDA Organic Certification

Certificate Description

The USDA Organic Certification allows farms or processing facilities to sell, label, and represent their products as organic, and verifies that they complies with official organic regulations.

Once certified, products can be sold, labelled and represented as organic. The regulations describe the specific standards required for the use of the word “organic” or the organic seal on food, feed, or fiber products.

The certification is developed and managed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the federal executive department responsible for developing and executing federal laws related to farming, forestry, rural economic development, and food.
