Certificate Description

The World Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) is an independent, objective, non-profit team of global social compliance experts which promote safe, lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing around the world through certification and education. The program focused on the apparel, footwear, and sewn products sectors.

WRAP issues three levels of certification that are valid from six months to two years based on a facility’s compliance with WRAP’s 12 Principles. These Principles are based on generally accepted international workplace standards, local laws and workplace regulations, and include the spirit or language of relevant conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)’s Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
